A huge thank you to Marcus "Shaky" Sullivan for his amazing talent.

Saturday with Marcus “Shaky” Sullivan @shakysullivan. Marcus Sullivan

drew this Ed “Big Daddy” Roth inspired illustration for me as a special Thank You for helping him out with the work, storage and delivery of Bill Carter’s 1959 T-Bird he recently purchased. I was completely taken back by this wonderful and thoughtful gift. Old school thoughtfulness you don’t see much of anymore. I'm going to mat and frame this and hang it with all the other greatness that’s at my shop, my office specifically. If your not following this future “Star” custom painter in Marcus Sullivan you should follow him on Facebook and Instagram @shakysullivan to see what he’s got going on. Such and amazing artist and talent who’s major influences are Bill Carter and Larry Watson just to name a few. Thank you Marcus for the awesome gift and your genuine appreciation for what we accomplished for you and your dad here in SoCal. That T-Bird needs to be finished by you and your dad. It was meant for you and I’m proud to call you a friend. We’re gonna take your design and make a shirt out of this one. I love this so much.

Comments:

"He nailed Ed Roth's style . Ed was a friend and sometimes cohort of Bill's , Mark Jones and I would hang out with Roth at the car shows . He would always give us an assortment of decals and he airbrushed a t shirt for me that my mother hated . It had the rat fink with mother's worry above it." - Fred Cook
